After receiving your order, we contact your physician's office to gather the required information and complete your order.
VERIFYING COVERAGE AND PRIOR AUTHORIZATIONS
We will verify your health insurance benefits for your enteral nutrition product(s). Should your product(s) require prior authorization before coverage, we will submit any prior authorization required. Our policy requires predeterminations for all of our enteral nutrition products to prevent any future denials. Once we determined that you are covered, we will submit a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Hearts Enteral will submit a claim to your health insurance carrier to get reimbursed. Our patients are responsible for their co-pays and any balances that are due to patient responsibility. We will bill your primary insurance company and any secondary insurance plan you may have. We go above and beyond to ensure our patients receive their full health benefits and try to avoid any denials.
Should our patients chose to submit their own claims to their insurance carriers, we will provide our complete reimbursement claims packet to help facilitate and make the process smoother. Please call us for more information.
We have a dedicated team specializing solely in the medical food and enteral nutrition coverage. That's our main focus! If our patients have any insurance issues, we will do whatever it takes to make sure our patients afford and stay on diet. We call this our patient advocacy support. Hearts Enteral does not have its own warehouses. Shipping will be provided directly by the manufacturers or wholesalers. Should patients need to track their shipping, patients would need to contact the manufacturer directly. We will contact the wholesalers directly to help track our patient's shipping.
